Lotus: masterplan in east malaysia

A masterplan for 600 units of select houses and 20 acre natural park will be designed to feature the latest ideas in housing schemes. This project challenges convention by offering residents an estate owned gated community development with at least two 5 acre lakes and a 200 km long jogging trail around the site. All units have gardens that link directly to their 20 acre park.

One of the more exciting projects in recent months of 2007 has been this parcel wherein the built form appears somewhat carved out of the ground. A small incision on the roof suggests promising retail environment design for this new neighborhood, bringing daylight into what would have been a deep plan. The entire Kenny Heights masterplan boasts some 80 acres of developable land currently valued at over USD 3 billion.

Kenny Heights

Masterplan for major 70 acre development in the green lung area designated for high-end luxury residential development and mixed commercial buildings. Designed and conceived by ZLG, collaboration with WDA, Kengo Kuma, Benoy, Site Concept International and designers from all over Asia and Europe.

Saigon Pearl

Saigon Pearl is probably the first mixed Retail development with themed forest concept experience. This is a 350,000 sqft shopping experience set in an premium real estate [sought after location facing the Saigon River]. Originally designed and conceived in collaboration with Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd of Singapore. A presentation was made to Vietnamland and Investors last Saturday 5th November 2005. This is one of three series of work around ZLG themed Retail Parks. Two other sites, for Kenny Heights parcel 4 and also for the forthcoming parcel in India [watch this space] will be developed later in the next year.
