kenny heights

One of the more exciting projects in recent months of 2007 has been this parcel wherein the built form appears somewhat carved out of the ground. A small incision on the roof suggests promising retail environment design for this new neighborhood, bringing daylight into what would have been a deep plan. The entire Kenny Heights masterplan boasts some 80 acres of developable land currently valued at over USD 3 billion.

Lee Bungalow

Bungalow design using spandrel panels and natural finished steel sheets. Formed concrete structure ion white, sweeping edge forming a lifted floor detail at the base.

Kenny Heights

avenueK: Facade Detail

AvenueK takes on a new look on the facade. 170m of panels made from durable perforated white PVC mesh preprinted with select images. Lets light through to the retail lots in the day.

This is avenue K Mall, the atrium void is simply an awesome space rising some twenty metres, with an escalator connecting directly between the ground floor and level three.

avenue K Exterior

This mall is extraordinarily simple and elegant, using limited pallette of browns and dark grey and whites. Facade exudes the same luxurious feel as for a museum or art gallery. Two towers adorn the top of the podium, one for a serviced apartment development called K Residence. Concept: Huat LIM/zlgdesign

Bukit Ceylon

A project with intention to make a medium-sized building a sort of work of art by simply deploying an unusual texture to one face of the facade, thereby unlimited by the interior arrangement, and does not deploy any identification, other than its formal external shape. Apartment design is complete with elevated pool, perched on a very steep sloped site, accessible from Changkat Bukit Bintang.

Saigon Pearl

Saigon Pearl is probably the first mixed Retail development with themed forest concept experience. This is a 350,000 sqft shopping experience set in an premium real estate [sought after location facing the Saigon River]. Originally designed and conceived in collaboration with Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd of Singapore. A presentation was made to Vietnamland and Investors last Saturday 5th November 2005. This is one of three series of work around ZLG themed Retail Parks. Two other sites, for Kenny Heights parcel 4 and also for the forthcoming parcel in India [watch this space] will be developed later in the next year.
